Police uncover bombs in Jos community



The police in Jos on Easter Monday averted a tragedy when they discovered some improvised electronic devices and bomb making substances  in a shop at Anguwan Rogo, a Hausa dominated suburb in Jos North Local Government area of the state.
This is coming at a time the Aten people of Ganawuri in Riyom local government area have exonerated themselves from the clashes between the Atakar and Fulani herdsmen in the area, which claimed more than 30 lives.
The discovery of the bomb was made following a complaint to the police by the shop owner that his tenant locked his shop even after the tenancy has expired and Hereford wanted them to eject him.
Among the items items discovered include an Improvised Explosive Device, cables, three bags of fertilisers, canisters of tear gas, a police life jacket, some uniforms belonging to an Aid group, a drilling machine and remote control devices.
